I love this time of year with all my heart. It is a time full of warmth and creative energy. We open the windows and let the first summer month flow into our homes and our hearts. We are ready to invite new and wonderful experiences into our lives.
I love life and I wish for a world with passion. Even though it feels like a huge challenge, both for my heart and for my brain. I have chosen that this beautiful first summer month should be dedicated to love.
Love can also be a nightmare, and most of us have experienced it, however, there will always be some kind of longing for unconditional love. It can be from family, in friendships, or in our romantic relationships.
We are currently living in a world with chaos and changes. It can often seem like a dark time, but however dark a time may seem, the light will never be entirely extinguished.
Romantic relationships and sex are often bundled together. It has been proven that sex with a partner that you love, will provide you with the greatest happiness and feelings of joy from the heart.
Oscar Wilde writes: to love yourself is a livelong romance. Some experts are even of the opinion that all love starts by loving yourself. Love is essential for our lives. As a young one and all the way up to the mature age, was I predominantly focused on my love for others, without considering that there should also be room for the love I have for myself. When selflove is present, it will also flow easier to others. If you think that it is impossible, then there is a small mirror exercise, that can be beneficial to you and thereby also your fellow humans.
The exercise consists of you standing in front of a mirror, looking yourself lovingly in the eyes and telling yourself “I love you.” You have to feel that it is not your ego that is saying the words, but that the “I love you” is coming from an unconditional environment inside your heart. Do this many times a day and as the first greeting to yourself in the morning. I say it every day to myself, as the first thing in the morning. It is often a pitiful sight that meets me in the mirror with morning hair and the like, so I often cannot stop grinning lovingly at myself and thus I start my day with a bit of laughter, acceptance, and love. I can clearly feel that the love I have for myself, becomes love for other and improves my tolerance and decreases my prejudices.
The Love Diet
Love of food is also something we have to incorporate into our every day. The diet plays an important role for our joy of life and surplus energy. Eat plenty of green ecological food. It becomes a part of how we express love for our bodies and the entire world. Omramm Mikhaël Aïvanhov writes in his book “The yoga of nutrition”, that food is a love letter from the creator. As an example, he writes that when you take a piece of fruit, then think about how it is filled with the sun’s rays and is a letter from the creator. When you are cooking, then concentrate on making your food with love. The taste of the food reflects whether it has been made with love. A simple dish can taste divine if there is love in it. If the same recipe is followed as a sour duty, then the taste and energy will not be present. Once upon of time, when I was very in love and did not really have any money, I made a dish called “burning love” with mashed potatoes and poured all my feeling into it. It was a huge success and my friend talked at length about the dish. If you, food-wise, want to spice up your relationship and have wonderful sex, then it is best to stick with simple foods. A good bottle of red wine can work wonders, of cause in limited amounts. The red wine can help bring you closer together and give both parties a wonderful erotic experience. chocolate should not be forgotten. I have often wondered why it is especially men that are enthusiastic about chocolate. This was until I figured out that the dopamine from the chocolate is released in the brain’s “lust” center, which reaches its high during an orgasm. If you find it difficult to mutter the small words “I love you”, then you might be able to do it with a small box of lovely chocolates. Other good foods that promotes a loving wonderful sex life are garlic, which is an aphrodisiac, almonds, mussels, avocado, and chili. At the time of writing this, asparagus is in season, which besides being a good prebiotic, is known for being great for romantic affairs and can preferably be served with a bit of ginger. An English herbalist Nicholas Culpeper claimed that asparagus increases the sex drive in both men and women. Honey is also appreciated in the love life, as it has been shown to increase testosterone levels in the blood. Honey is also mentioned in the Kama Sutra. When you are eating, then do not stuff yourself. It is not healthy, either for your love, sex, or romance. There is a phrase I have used many times when I have taught eating habits and nutrition. I believe the phrase is true. It goes like this: “The way you eat is the same way you love.”
L-arginine, which is an essential amino acid, might be the supplement you are missing to make your sex life better. The amino acid affects both men’s and women’s sex drive. It can perhaps be combined with Pycnogenol and / or ginseng and ginkgo biloba.
The amino acid taurine can also contribute to increased sexual performance and desire. It is available in combination products together with L-arginine. Maca might be the plant that can save an ailing sex life. Maca has been used for hundreds of years to promote fertility and sexual desire. Maca is also known as Peruvian ginseng and grow on the high Andes Mountains. You may want to take an extra supplement of vitamin-B. Make sure you get a combination of all the B-vitamins. The entire body needs B-vitamins to function optimally, both physically and mentally. B-vitamins can help increase your surplus energy to handle love in all its shapes. For instance, B12 can provide you with extra energy for love and sex. Supplement with C- and E-vitamins, zinc, and selenium. They are all good antioxidants, that help the body in many different ways and increase the feelings of feeling for healthy and strong. Garlic has many great qualities. One of them is that garlic can make sex better and increase fertility. The allicin in the garlic creates a better flow in the circulatory system in the heart, but it also brings better circulation to the genitals. Knowledge of the garlic’s many positive properties go back more than 5000 years. Garlic reduces cholesterol and triglycerides and has a vasodilator effect, it is also blood thinning and contributes to the reduction of homocysteine in the blood.
My office has an alter with a lot of crystals of all kinds and in all colors, each with their own characteristic. I have even had some of them coded, with different properties.
I also always have some crystals with me. As I am writing this, I have a bunch of coded crystals next to me, that bring me plenty of wonderful energy.
Rosa quarts, which I have some of, are known as the best love crystal. It helps with love in all shapes and forms. I often have it in my pocket. It generally helps bring more love into my life, both selflove, but also helps me bring love to other people and animals.
Of the other great crystals, is it worth mentioning rock crystal and aquamarine, that represent life’s joy and love.
From my daughter, Grethe Lind’s book “Inspiration to strengthen the body’s healing powers”, have I been given permission to use a quote written by Emmet Fox:
“There are no issues in existence, which sufficient love cannot conquer. There is no disease, which sufficient love cannot heal. No door, which sufficient love cannot open. There is no cleft, which sufficient love cannot connect. No wall, which sufficient love cannot overturn. And no sin, which sufficient love cannot reconciliate. It has no importance, no matter how large your troubles might seem; how bleak the prospects might be, how entangled the mess might seem; how big the mistake is. A sufficient realization of love will solve it all. If you could love enough, you would be the happiest and strongest person in the world.”
