Goldenrod has a wonderfully beautiful yellow colour and can be a striking sight when it flowers in late summer – especially when many plants grow together. Goldenrod tea has a slightly bitter taste with soft notes.

When goldenrod seeds dry, they develop fine, hair-like tufts that help the seeds spread in the wind, much like dandelion seeds. This is why the dried seed heads may gather into small “woolly tufts” in the bag.

Instructions for use and precautions:

Use ½–1 teaspoon of herbs per cup of boiling water. Strain using a tea filter. Steep for 5–10 minutes.

Storage:

Store in a dry place and avoid excessive heat.
