The body produces collagen itself, but already at the age of 25 its production begins to slowly decrease and at the age of 40 the production is minimal. 

Dr. Tolonen Collagen contains collagen, zinc, biotin, vitamin C and carnosine. These substances are important for the skin and help it maintain its firmness and elasticity. The collagen is hydrolyzed fish collagen. 

Zinc and biotin help maintain normal skin. 

Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation which is important for the normal function of the skin. Zinc and vitamin C help protect cells from oxidative stress.
