Berthelsen Vitamin E contains 30 mg mixed natural tocopherols per capsule, including d-alpha, d-beta, d-delta, and d-gamma tocopherols. Only natural tocopherols are used, providing a broad-spectrum vitamin E supplement. The amount of vitamin E is expressed in alpha-tocopherol equivalents, as d-alpha-tocopherol is the main form stored in the body and used as the reference value.

Vitamin E is a fat-soluble vitamin and a powerful antioxidant that protects cells from oxidative stress. Oxidative stress is an imbalance between free radicals and antioxidants, which can damage fats, proteins, DNA, and cellular signaling. As an antioxidant, vitamin E helps neutralize free radicals by donating an electron, thus breaking harmful chain reactions.
