Description:

Astaxanthin is a powerful antioxidant naturally produced by microalgae. It helps protect cells from oxidative stress and contributes to the maintenance of normal immune function.

It is also responsible for the red colour seen in crustaceans and salmon, which obtain astaxanthin through their diet.
