Description:

Organic oregano is a close relation to marjoram, with a slight bitter taste resembling that of thyme as oregano and thyme leaves contain the same essential oils. Oregano has a stronger taste compared to majoram but is essentially used for the types of food, e.g. the tomato sauce for Italian classic pizza and pasta. Greek and Turkish dishes, vegetable soups, stews and casseroles also benefit from oregano.

You may add oregano to your dishes at any time during your preparations – it stands up well to high temperatures.

Instructions for use and precautions:

½-1 tsp per cup of boiling water. Let brew for 5-10 minutes and strain before serving. May also be used as a culinary spice.
