Rooibos is the name of a strong cup of red tea – delicious and enjoyable! This Organic Rooibos tea is both tasty and aromatic and contains no caffeine. Rooibos (which means ‘red bush’) grows in the southern parts of the African continent. The tea is made from the leaves of the bush that is endemic to this area where the dry, hot climate and the particular soil makes it possible to cultivate the bush. The tea does not contain caffeine and only 1 % tannic acid (the general tannic acid content in teas is 8-15 %). This means that it may be reheated without turning bitter – or you may store it in your refrigerator and drink it cold as iced tea in summer. In addition, rooibos tea goes a long way – about twice as long as black tea. Many tea drinkers mix rooibos with black tea to get a very aromatic tea with a piquant taste. It is an ideal evening tea – also for the kids.

Instructions for use and precautions:

1 tsp per cup of boiling water. Let brew for 5-10 minutes and strain before serving.
