Description:

Organic basmati rice from the Terai region near the Himalayan mountains. The rice is grown by a consortium of small, impoverished cooperatives known for their high-quality rice.

Instructions for use and precautions:

Preparation: Rinse 100 ml of rice with cold water. Add the rice and 200 ml of water to a saucepan and bring to a boil. Cover with a tight-fitting lid, reduce the heat to low, and let the rice simmer on the lowest heat setting. After about 30 minutes, turn off the heat and let the rice rest for an additional 5 minutes.

Storage:

Store in a dry and cool place.
