Chew the roots and spit out the remnants.

Liquorice roots are delicious in spice blends and teas. Always let liquorice tea brew for 15 minutes with the lid on to ensure that essential oils do not evaporate. May also be used as natural flavouring in, e.g., chai tea.

Do not use if you suffer from hypertension.
