This high-grade Manuka honey is derived from the wild, uncultivated Manuka bush (Leptospermum scoparium) native to New Zealand. It carries an MGO (methylglyoxal) rating of 550+, which indicates a high level of the compound responsible for Manuka honey’s unique antibacterial activity.
MGO Manuka Honey is a registered trademark of Manuka Health New Zealand Ltd. The honey has a strong, rich flavour with a slightly bitter aftertaste and is ideal enjoyed pure or stirred into warm drinks.
Instructions for use and precautions:
Enjoy 1 teaspoon of Manuka honey as it is. It can also be stirred into warm drinks.
