Description:
Liquorice extract is a powder with a rich and full-bodied taste of liquorice and a delightful aromatic fragrance. It is used wherever a liquorice flavour is desired. Try it in homemade liquorice candies, sprinkles, liquorice syrup, liquorice caramels, cream puffs, and more. Liquorice extract is also perfect as a flavour enhancer in cookies, whipped cream, frosting, cupcakes, or as a seasoning for meat and fish.
Liquorice extract is produced by boiling liquorice roots (Glycyrrhiza glabra L) and subsequently spray drying them.
It contains approximately 6% glycyrrhizic acid and about 22% glycyrrhizin. Food-grade quality.
