The capsules contain powdered sage leaves. Sage has a strong and spicy taste. The velvety leaves can be used as a spice and are widely used in French and Italian cuisine. Sage can also be drunk as a cooling tea. Sage helps reduce discomfort associated with menopause/hot flashes.
