Description:

Bio-Folin consists of yellow tablets, each containing 400 micrograms of active methylfolate as 5-methyltetrahydrofolate (5-MTHF). This replaces the synthetic folic acid found in many supplements.

Unlike most supplements that use calcium L-methylfolate, Pharma Nord uses a new form of methylfolate with a patented glucosamine salt of biologically active folate, suitable for vegetarians and vegans. This new generation offers improved effectiveness, safety, and solubility compared to previous versions.

It is recommended that women planning pregnancy take a daily supplement of 400 mcg of folic acid from the time pregnancy is planned until the end of the 12th week of pregnancy.
