Description:

Wormwood is used as a flavouring agent in the New Nordic Kitchen. Its bitter taste makes it suitable for beers, schnapps and bitters. The bitterness of the herb is also the reason for its widespread used in gardens – the strong smell of wormwood may drive away insects and vermin. Leaves and flower buds are particularly aromatic; only one twig will result in a pleasantly bitter taste.

Instructions for use and precautions:

½-1 tsp per cup of boiling water. Let brew for 5-10 minutes and strain before serving.
