Psyllium husks, originate from the Indian plant Plantago ovata.
Psyllium husks are water-soluble and absorb water.
Biogan’s organic psyllium husks also have a high fibre content and are often used in bread, especially for gluten-free baking, where they help prevent the bread from drying out.
These finely ground psyllium husks are particularly good for smoothies, water, juice, or cooking.
Instructions for use and precautions:
Add 20 grams of psyllium husks + 100 ml of liquid per 500 grams of flour used in the recipe. Can also be added to smoothies, water, juice, or cooking.
Storage:
Store in a dry and cool place.
